• Knowledge of best practices in the area of application software analysis;
• Good knowledge about banking software (IT architecture, functional features, IT technical design) and good knowledge of major software technologies and industry standards;
• Good knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL, familiar with Microsoft and Oracle databases
• Experience with Oracle FlexCube Core Banking solution is an asset
• Experience with interface projects; technology for web services and service bus is an asset
• Strong analytical skills, capable to assess impact on a highly connected IT software applications landscape;
• Strong collaboration skills, solution oriented, supportive attitude;
• Well organized and efficient, able to follow deadlines; good team spirit, oriented to delivery
• Trainings and certifications on the area of IT service delivery and / or IT system analysis is an asset.
Main responsibilities of the job:
• Design and elaborate enhancements to banking software or new software; perform impact analysis for enhancements on the application landscape
• Perform complex product and applications setup on business request; perform product setup in the Core Banking System
• Work with software providers in analysis and design of software changes to the banking applications and support delivery and testing.
• Work with Project Management and business lines in projects definition, scoping, analysis and implementation;
• Perform or coordinate with Quality Assurance integration testing of software changes and support user acceptance testing; provide post go-live assistance and support according to application lifecycle;
• Offer consultancy to peer analysts and to business beneficiaries, suggest business solutions;
• Provide assistance and training to IT support staff upon project completion;
• Support in the assessment of project initiatives with the business lines;
• Report to Team Leader IT Business Analysts and functionally to the project manager in the projects in which he/she is involved.
• University Degree in Computer Science/ Cybernetics or similar;
• At least 3 years of experience in IT applications analysis/development/support in a banking institution or services provider for banking institutions;
• At least 1 year experience in implementing projects in a banking institution or services provider for banking institutions;
• Good English writing and speaking skills are a must.
