By building a lean, minimum viable product (or “MVP”), we help entrepreneurs save time and capital by releasing a simple, but beautiful first iteration of their products in under 30 days.
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our passionate team. At Leanometry you will work on cutting edge applications using latest technologies. Since we develop MVP’s from scratch there is no legacy code!
What you'll be doing:
* Creating online applications using CSS, JavaScript, XHTML
* Turning wireframes into standards-compliant code
* Testing on prototypes and/or end products
* Staying up to date with new research, best practices, theories, and methodologies in user experience design and usability
Required expertise:
* 3+ years front-end development, specializing in HTML / XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript
* Twitter Bootstrap, Responsive HTML, and CSS media queries
* Cross-browser / mobile compatibility troubleshooting
* Understanding of current trends in web design
Required skills:
* Ability to work as a member of an agile development team
* Excellent attention to detail
* Great time management and estimation skills
* Great communication skills
Things that will make you stand out
* Experience with EC2
* Experience with GitHub source control
* Experience developing for mobile platforms using PhoneGap
* Experience with NodeJS
* Experience with Sass / LESS
* Experience with Knockout / Backbone / Marionette or other JavaScript frameworks such as Ember and AngularJS
