RESPONSABILITATI

Multinational company, offering power generation and temperature control solutions to customers especially in the industrial area.

Job purpose:

In charge of all finance activities and manages the finance department for eastern Europe organization (Romania and Poland): management and statutory accounting & reporting, credit control, support to the business, tax, legal and procurement.

Responsibilities:

Keeping the accounts following both local and group accounting rules: bookkeeping activities, as well as documents filing;
Ensuring the compliance of accounting and reporting principles and processes with continental Europe and local GAAP and procedures;
Producing accurate management reporting and in particular, establishes month end P&L and Balance Sheet, within the required time-frame;
Ensuring proper analysis and justification of P&L and balance sheet accounts every month;
Producing monthly Balance sheet file reconciliations according to Group rules;
Producing weekly cash forecast;
Producing in relationship with the business annual budget, monthly forecast, weekly “flash” reports;
Producing accurate statutory accounts following local regulation and rules, within the required timeframe;
Responding to questions and requests from internal, external and tax auditors;
Developing best practice in use of M3, Tagetik and business information tools;
Providing AGMs with ad hoc analysis on finance and management accounts matters;
Producing timely tax returns and payments of taxes, answers tax related inquiries from the Group;
Producing the monthly VAT, Intrastat returns and all required local tax declarations;
Producing the statistics and other documents as per local requirements;
Managing tax issues, ensures the timely production of tax returns and payments of taxes, prepares tax reporting, answers tax questions from the group;
Defining with local management the optimum credit policies in terms of customer acceptance, payment terms, payment means;
Monitoring the credit risks: risk assessment, mitigation and follow up particularly on new customers, and decides on risk tolerance;
Optimizing the credit collection delay by working at increasing the awareness and implication of the commercial teams for the negotiation of payment terms and means;
Give guidance, manages, support the activities of the direct reports as required;
Responsible for annual appraisals and recommendation of training of staff according to procedures;
Maintaining management structure of personnel with clear responsibilities, using particular skills in advance;
Developing the sense of responsibility through tasks and authority delegation to team members.


CERINTE

University degree graduate – Finance / Accounting studies;
Over 5 years of experience in a controlling or financial analysis position;
Experienced people manager, displaying sound leadership skills;
Experienced in working in a multinational company with high level of reporting;
Track record in strategic transformation projects;
Able to offer financial consultancy at top level and across multiple organizations;
Business acumen – able to translate business drivers into financial KPI’s;
Effective communicator & transversal collaboration skills;
Excellent MS Office – especially Excel skills;
Advanced working level of English;
French is considered a plus;
Experienced in working with specific ERP’s.
