The Role
• Project delivery on Banking Regulatory Consulting projects: technical delivery of complex areas of the projects, coordination of more junior staff and client relationship;
• Raise questions to the target Bank’s management and staff;
• Discuss findings with team leaders and follow up on review points;
• Take part in client meetings;
• Liaise with other specialists (tax, law etc.) to exchange relevant information;
• Perform research activities, review and analyse financial, regulatory and other related information.

PwC is currently looking for a highly driven Senior Associate to join its Banking Regulatory Consulting practice group located in Bucharest. The role offers great and rapid career progression alongside the most experienced service provider - both at local (Romania) & CEE level.
What we are looking for:
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in either of: Regulatory Consulting, External Audit, Risk Management within a Bank;
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards for Banks;
• Knowledge of financial sector environment, regulatory and financial reporting requirements, etc.;
• Knowledge of Capital requirements regulation and directive – CRR/CRD IV, Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms (CRR), FINREP Reporting, COREP Reporting;
• Fluency in English and reports writing;
• Good analytical skills;
• Ability to produce quality work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines;
• Self-motivated person to learn and develop technical knowledge, eager to acquire experience and build a career in a professional environment and with a strong team-work spirit;
