The EPM Business Analyst will work in a team implementing Hyperion Essbase Planning applications to meet budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc analysis and reporting needs. This role involves development and implementation of enhancements, new cubes, reports, tools and processes. It involves integration with the existing data platforms (Oracle E-Business suite, Oracle BI Applications).It also involves providing timely and satisfactory resolution of system issues, successful implementation of new solutions, capability of users based on training effectiveness.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in the development and implementation of enhancements, new cubes, reports, tools and processes associated with Hyperion Planning projects; including web form and tasks list development;
Develop and optimize Business Rules;
Develop, review and optimize Essbase outlines;
Security Administration - Including web forms/reports and calculation scripts/business rules;
Create / maintain documentation;
Evaluate and recommend solutions to improve existing systems processes and reporting as well as expanded process automation;
Train members of the project team and employees; and advise them on options and priorities.
Strong experience in hands-on development with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase;
OBIEE 10g/11g platform experience is a plus;
Oracle ERP knowledge/experience is a plus.
