• Coach a team of 12 high qualified engineering experts in order to support and improve the running production (concerning Technology / Quality / Cost / Capacity / 6 Sigma / Kaizen) and prepare new projects to launch successfully according the D4 targets;
• Planning, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of engineering department.
• Assigning, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the department and project teams.
• Stay up to date concerning all core technologies of the company:
• Green/ hard operations;
• All gear related processes including Heat Treatment;
• Cleaning processes;
• Misc. Specific ones related to projects and product;
• You are internally in in depth contact with R&D, process engineering, industrial engineering, quality engineering, production, planning, sales & purchasing; externally with customers (mainly engineering, supplier quality and project management), machine tool suppliers, fixture and cutting tool suppliers.
Following responsibilities & key result areas:
• Coaching your team;
• Managing the interface with local production and Global Engineering;
• Managing the ramp up of new projects in the plant;
• Responsible for process, technology, cost & quality improvements of the running production;
• Managing overall capacity and lay out of the plant;

• University degree, technical field | engineering (bachelor or master);
• Strong analytical skills, combined with hands on mentality;
• Strong affinity for the automotive or mechanical industry;
• Good knowledge of English; knowledge of German is an asset.
• Proven experience in a company with production processes in the area of Mechanical processing;
• Solid management experience proven in motivating and leading an efficient team;
