Your role in a nutshell
Work on the newest projects as well as on the maintenance of the existing software
Develop embedded software for driver consoles, validators and board computers in public transport vehicles
Interface with various hardware systems (line films, GPS, smart cards, cameras, gates, payment terminals, fingerprint readers etc.)
Develop C/C++ applications and user interfaces in a Linux environment, incl. embedded devices
Design APIs
Essential skills
Degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in IT studies or equivalent practical experience
At least 3 years of profound technical experience
Outstanding skills in C/C++
Familiarity with Linux / embedded Linux and SQL databases
Excellent knowledge of English
Team player with good networking and strong communication skills
Ability to work in virtual, international teams
Strong analytical capabilities, a problem-solving mindset and the ability to think out of the box
Nice-to-have skills
Experience with embedded systems and Java knowledge advantageous
