• Monitor, identify, investigate and report the suspicious transactions; • Ensure daily reports are analyzed and submitted in legal term to NOPCML;• Update the internal database concerning requests and/or transmission of information to NOPCML and other authorities under Law 656/2002;• Identify and analyze the risks of money laundering and financing terrorism and propose appropriate measures to eliminate or reduce them to a reasonable level acceptable by the Bank;• Insure support for the branches regarding the KYC/AML/CFT area;• Answer to the addresses and requests received from the authorities under Law 656/2002;• Manage the KYC/AML/CFT programs by developing compliance training plan, compliance monitoring plan and perform periodic training, control and testing into all employees;• Update the relevant procedures whenever necessary and ensures that they are implemented correctly;• Prepare periodic reports for the superior management.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND:• University Degree in Law/Economics;• min. 2 years of AML experience within a financial institution and/or regulatory body;
Very good communication skills;• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;• Ability to meet targets and deadlines;• Ambitious and capable of working under pressure;• Self managed and motivated; solution-oriented approach;• Team spirit and negotiation skills;• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point and Smaragd MDS can be a plus);• Fluency in English language, both spoken and written.
