Conducting banking operations (payment runs, internal settlements) ensuring proper supporting documents are available before payments are initiated;
Keep in touch with banks, customers and suppliers;
Validates the MIRO/MIGO transactions for stocks related items as regarding correct purchase price, VAT, customs duties. Cross check of full set of documents relating to these transactions;
Checks whether the documents received from suppliers meet the formal requirements imposed by law and if they are correct in terms of arithmetic;
Keeps track of promissory notes and checks, communicating daily to management the outstanding checks;
Introduces and checks in SAP the input documents and in case there are errors does the adjustments;
Checks out monthly analytical concordance between designated accounts to Trial balance;
Prepares the purchases journal, and gives it to be checked by the direct manager;
Receives and archives the suppliers correspondence;
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
Professional education in business economics
Good knowledge of SAP system and legislative requirements
Knowledge and experience in international companies
Accounting and auditing experience in international companies
Knowledge and experience in local and international financial matters
CECAR qualification is a plus
English (fluently), other foreign languages desirable
Furthermore, computer literacy (Word, Excel) is necessary
