Objective:
- To ensure that all the procurement activities for the plant are performed delivered within cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Search and select new suppliers or subcontractors according to company’s needs. Assure permanent contact with current pool of suppliers with constant aim of effective quality / price deliveries, in line with delivery timing requirements.
- Running the purchasing process from order till delivery (negociate price, quantity, quality, technical requirements, and delivery date and payment terms)
- Writes and distributes technical request for tender / inquiries; receives and analyzes offers, proposals, and analyze the contracts. Actively support Sales Department during budgeting process.
- Manage supplier data system/prices/safety stocks/inventories
- Update and maintain supplier information for periodic evaluations
- Negotiate with suppliers for constant savings gain & help increase company long-term profitability
- Work with suppliers to ensure product and services availability, delivering scheduling and to solve any price or delivering issues
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure company purchasing regulations are in place
- Participate to periodical inventories
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of purchasing practice and procedures
- Technical drawing knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self motivated and assertive person
- Very good command of English language
- PC knowledge, (Ms. Office, Internet, Email)
- Skill in preparing and analyzing complex technical specifications and bids
- Good organization skills
- Communicative, ability to work under pressure, focused on details
