Coordinating the financial-accounting department;
Verifying the bookkeeping realized by the accounting team;
Generating and checking trial balances;
Preparing half and year-end balance sheet;
Preparing monthly statements for the Romanian Authorities;
Drawing-up reports to management: balance sheet, cash flow, profit & loss, cost analysis and other reports upon request;
Verifying the correct application of the local civil law and fiscal regulatory requirements.
For one of our clients, a multinational company activating in the field of furniture production, we are looking for a Chief Accountant, based in Sighetu Marmatiei.
Requirements:
University graduate (economics);
Relevant experience on a similar position;
Experience in the production field;
Relevant experience in accounting;
Knowledge of monthly closing procedures, Romanian tax legislation, financial analysis and reporting;
Computer skills (MS Excel, accounting software);
Fluent in English;
Knowledge of French is an advantage;
Problem-solver, organized, interpersonal skills.
