Adecco Professional Placement is looking for its client, one of the most dynamic companies operating on the decorative paints market, being one of the top producers in Romania an Area Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
* Ensures the existence of a prepared team according to requirements, both quantitatively and qualitatively - attract, evaluate, develop and optimize the team;
* Maintains the direct relation with the existent and potential distributors, retail team, sales counselors from the key accounts and distributers agents;
* Defines and seeks regularly the quantitative and qualitative objectives of business development for and with each team member;
* Visits the market area for each Sales Representative, at least once a week;
* Oversees the weekly program of the technical teams assigned to the area;
* Implements trade policy in the territory (implementing discounts steps, payment terms, etc.);
* Proposes and implements local and regional distribution projects in order to achieve the regional objectives;
* Recommends new distributors, proposes targets and negotiates contracts according to the instructions;
* Prospects, offers, negotiates and makes sales to key accounts - top clients for the area;
* Proposes special projects in order to lead to customer loyalty and to attract new clients;
* Ensures distributors stock control, avoids out of stock, damaged and expired goods situations;
* Ensures implementation and good functioning of the distributors business intelligence software;
* Follows and is aware of the payment status of the customers to the distributors;
* Collaborates with the credit control department about the incoming payments status and avoids the nonpayment risks;
* Ensures support to the distributors in hiring and training the sales agents.
Required Qualifications, experience and education:
* FMCG background ( minimum 3 years);
* Proven experience in distribution and working with distributors;
* Proven experience in negotiating and direct sale;
* Experience in the management of sales agents;
* Experience in developing the Key Accounts locations;
* Excellent coordinator of people and projects;
* Great negotiations skills.
Preferred Qualifications and experience
* Knows the trade policy of the distributors in the market;
* Knows internal organization of distributors and all the processes that influence sales;
