For our client, a production company of gypsum plasters and plasterboard , we are recruiting a Specification Engineer located in Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to:Technical Manager – Projects
Travel Required: 10%-15%, as per requirement
Responsibilities:
1. Design Drywall / Ceiling system as per the requirement of the project in compliance with international standards.
2. Prepare the re engineered proposal in compliance with best engineering practices. Preparing material and cost breakdown sheet.
3. Provide technical support to Project executive related to specifications of drywall system, project compliance sheet for the assigned region
4. Leading the certification requirement of the of all related Fire and Acoustical test of the developed partition system in accordance with the strategy defined by the Management
5. Communication with the consultants, architects, contractors regarding technical issues (product specification, fire protection, sound insulation, specifications of partitions, systems etc).
6. Collecting of market information in all segments of the projects to identify latest trends.
7. Monthly update of project status reports and change orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. CIVIL ENGINEERING GRADUATE OF ANY TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
2. EXCELLENT HANDS ON KNOWLEDGE OF GYPSUM INDUSTRY & DRYWALL SYSTEM
3. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF PROJECTS MARKET
4. 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN RELEVANT ROLE ; PREFERABLY AS A SPECIFICATION ENGINEER IN GYPSUM INDUSTRY
