Contract: Permanent, full time
Description:
This local authority is redesigning their Children’s Social Care Division to ensure that all their Social Workers have manageable caseloads, and are well supported within a reflective and learning environment.
To get there, they are currently looking to recruit 15 committed and dynamic experienced Social Workers
to join their Assessment and Care Management Teams.
The work will involve; assessments, case management, case meetings, child protection cases and court work. You will be expected to offer a high level of support to your assigned clients.

Requirements:
• Social work qualification with HCPC registration
• Several years’ experience within children’s services, statutory settings
• Excellent English (verbal and written) and good report writing skills
• Able to manage a complex and challenging caseload, as well as being analytical, reflective and child focused
• Ability to work with UK legislation and willingness to learn
• A driving license and willingness to drive in the UK
• Computer literate
Salary: £28,300 - £38,451 per annum depending on experience
