Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for its client, a leading software service and technology provider for e-learning, knowledge management, talent and new media solutions. The opened position of Software Quality Assurance is available in Sibiu.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review the requirements specifications to develop test strategies, create and document test-plans
- Test-cases design, development, execution and reporting to cover all the functional and non-functional testing aspects for the assigned features
- Define and design test regressions
- Involvement in test automation, perform software integration tests and regression tests
- Report bugs and perform bugs verification. Support the developers in bug recreation and bugs isolation
- Clearly track and report the testing progress
- Ability to forecast risks and come up with proper measures
- Continuously improve the quality assurance process
- Able to research and suggest potential tools or technologies for being adopted
- Review the documentation of the products for completeness and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Automatics or Computer Science
- 2- 3 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Experience testing Web or Mobile applications
- Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
- Excellent attention to details
- Proven ability to learn fast about software products under development
- Passion for learning, for using complex applications and for coaching others
- Analytical and problem solving skills, structured approach to problem solving following the existing procedures
- Fluency in English language is mandatory, German will be a big plus.
- Programming knowledge (HTML ,Java script, SQL) and automated testing tools knowledge (like Selenium) are a big plus.
